Swabian, honest and really good. We recommend!

Good Swabian cuisine in a very beautiful side valley of the Lenninger Valley. But be careful, if you think you can stop off after a short hike, you're wrong. Pre-planning or pre-ordering is necessary here. A good old dining room with a cozy stove and an attentive staff is the reward when you get a seat. The menu is clear, as a rule traditional but also new things seem to be positive here.

House, kitchen and staff should be entered on the list of world heritage sites.

Very tasty food. Cozy corner and nice staff. I had fish and it was delicious. Otherwise everything smells a bit strange, but that's up to the community.

Very good food, the brain soup is particularly recommended. The restaurant is very clean and the host is always available for a joke. To 100% recommend!

Very good Shabian cuisine

First of all, it should be emphasized that the deer offers warm meals on Sundays. We were totally surprised. Usually a hike ends with us at cs. 3 p.m. and hardly any pub on the Alb is open. And last but not least, the food was also excellent!

Wonderful! For vegetarians rather a small selection on the menu but the cook / owner was immediately ready to make something vegetarian. In the end I decided to have a starter from the menu (goat cheese with potato pancakes and black nuts) and I have to say that I have rarely eaten something so delicious. A special surprise! The others had meat dishes that tasted great and the dessert served at the neighboring tables looked appetizing. It is really worth taking the little detour to the sweet place to visit the Gasthaus Hirsch! Would love to come back for the next trip ☺️ PS: little bonus: the "Corona Corner" under the walnut tree, away from the restaurant with self-service cold drinks.

A very cozy, Swabian inn. The service is consistently attentive and super friendly. Our meals were all served at the same time and were perfectly cooked to the point. Highly recommended throughout!

Probably the best restaurant far and wide

We were with 10 people on Sunday for dinner in my favorite restaurant. Food was perfect as always, best Swabian cuisine, best service. we were ALL completely satisfied. Thanks again to the team
